Owner
Mike started Atherton IGA in August 2000. He brought more than 8 years’ supermarket experience with him, having previously owned the Dimbulah supermarket.
All of it. From the reef to the outback and everywhere in between. Love living here.
Business Manager
Tearne joined the team in 2011. She loves the team she works with and seeing the look on customers’ faces, when they come into the store for the first time.
Lake Eacham. So lucky to have this here. A stopover breakfast at Altitude Café is a must.
Store Manager
Tim started with Fresh St Market IGA in 2004 and won the national Store Manager of the Year in 2010. He loves interacting with his team members and also our customers.
The pace of life here is fabulous. I’m originally from Adelaide, but love living here.
Wholefoods / Perishables Manager
Diana loves being able to bring new ideas and products to the business. She’s pivotal in helping us strive for excellence and watching the store grow. She is committed to our community.
Raised up here, Diana loves the country lifestyle and being close to the reef and rainforest.
Fresh Foods Manager
Christian moved to the Tablelands from Brisbane, wanting a change of lifestyle. He started with Fresh St Market IGA in October 2018 and loves working in a family business with ties to community.
So many great weekend getaways, as well as being close enough to the coast for fishing.
Grocery/Dry Manager
Robbie’s favourite part of the job is being a part of an incredibly successful IGA that can complete effectively with the major supermarkets. He joined our team in 2012.
Their family relocated to the Tablelands in 2002. They love Yungaburra and the football.
Night Fill
Linda moved to the Tablelands from Brisbane 16 years ago and joined our team in 2008. She loves meeting customers, many of whom know her name, and working with a great team.
Difficult to pick just one, but Atherton, Tolga, Tinaroo Dam and Yungaburra are all great places.
Perishable
Barbara has lived on the Tablelands for more than 50 years and has been with us for more than 10 years. She loves seeing customer satisfaction and her department flourishing.
Definitely her garden. Barbara also enjoys dining out with friends and spending weekends with family.
Office
Sophie joined our team over 15 years ago and loves the great team of people she gets to work with, every day. She enjoys rising to the challenge and completing projects.
Bush walking and swimming at the beautiful lakes, creeks and waterfalls around the Tablelands.
Freezer
Hailing from Cairns, Liam moved to the Tablelands 15 years ago and joined us in 2013. He loves the cold room and values his team mates, many of whom he considers friends and family.
Yungaburra. There’s nothing better than chilling at the cafes and crater lakes.
