Fresh St Market IGA is so named because we provide you with access to fresh produce, in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment. We source from local suppliers whenever possible. In some instances this is seasonal, for example approximately 40% of our fruit and vegetable stock is purchased locally during winter, but in summer some produce is not available from our region and is sourced further south.
We also work with and support local businesses and producers, including dairies, butchers and more, to provide a showcase of local produce complemented with an extensive array of international goods, wholefoods and everyday grocery items. All your favourites, made using chicken wings, thighs, drumsticks and breasts, sourced from Steggles Mareeba. We’ve got filos, scrolls, sausages, strudels, kievs, schnitzels, enchiladas, cordon Bleu and much more in store.
Gourmet service counter, stocked with all premium cuts of meat, as well as a large range of wholesale cut meats, which can be sliced free of charge (rump, blade etc). Locally sourced produce. Sausages and stiry frys made fresh in store.
Large range of dairy products sourced locally, including milks, yoghurts, cheese and butter, from Mungalli Creek Dairy, Gallo Dairy and Dairy Famers Malanda. Complemented with an extensive array of international cheeses.
Breads, bread rolls, donuts and a selection of cookies are baked in store daily. We also stock Ravenshoe Bread, Curcio’s Bakery (Mareeba) pies and sweets and Dino’s Woodfire Bread and Pizza Bases (Cairns).

Over 3,500 different items to choose from in our extensive wholefoods section. Gluten and dairy free, fermented, herbs and spices, coffee and oils and so much more. Make your own fresh juice and nut butter, in store.
Our store is stocked with more than 23,000 different products, including an extensive grocery range. Our prices are competitive with other large supermarkets. We offer real value for money on everyday items and have more than 4,000 specials each week.
In the freezer section you’ll find a large variety of ice creams, frozen meals, pizzas, frozen fruit and vegetables. This includes home-made meals from Tablelands Fresh, Mary’s Ravioli’s (Innisfail), Casa Pasta (Ingham) and Licks Icecream (Cairns).
Pleased to have a variety of flower bunches and arrangements, in store daily. Local flowers are used wherever possible and we prepare a large selection of bunches on site, with something to suit every budget and occasion. We also have potted plants available for purchase.
Fresh St Market IGA is committed to sustainability. For community, environment and finance. That’s why we support local and price match the large supermarket chains on everyday products where possible (excluding their weekly specials). We also offer over 4,000 of own weekly special items. With environmental performance in mind, we’ve invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into purchasing plastic trays, made from recyclable plastic, which can be recycled again. These are used in our Chop Shop, Deli, Bakery (where appropriate) and Fruit and Vegetable divisions. We also use biodegradable plastic bags, in our Fruit and Vegetable department.
