We love our Atherton Tablelands community and are actively involved in supporting it in as many ways as we can. Your visit helps us make a difference, to local jobs, families and communities, enabling us to give back through donations, IGA Community Chest funds and our food rescue partnership with Better Together. Together, we’re putting good food to use instead of waste and lending a hand to locals doing it tough. We also invest in the future of our communities providing traineeships and scholarships for young people, plus real jobs for more than 220 locals. Our donations to clubs, events, charities, food rescue and scholarships totaled more than $120,000 in 2025.
Proudly supporting local sporting clubs, community events and charitable organisations that enrich the lives of locals.
From November 2022 to the end of 2025, we’ve donated the equivalent of 95,429 meals to vulnerable members of our community, equating to more than $190,800 worth of food.
Over the past 15 years, we’ve supported more than 140 local kids to complete a traineeship or apprenticeship.
Each year we grant one successful Atherton High School student $10,000 to assist with university costs and support career paths.

We recognise the importance of being a responsible corporate citizen and remain dedicated to making a positive impact on society and the environment.
